Dr. Rudolf Steiner, describes Whitsun as the Festival of the Free Individuality. He also alluded to a World Whitsun where the fire of each individual is understood in the context of the whole of humanity.
Arthur Edwards described how the awakening to ourselves and the world is experienced first within an intimate sphere of influence. It is made visible through our economic life. Our consciousness and influence gradually widens to the whole of the world.

Through Arthur’s presentation we learned how transparent accounting, when understood, emerges as the “new language of the super-sensible”. The invisible can be made visible through accounting. When we participate in the activity of double entry bookkeeping, we account for the breathing in and out of income and expenditures, liabilities and assets. In doing so, we may see newly into the driving force of the “Destiny” that weaves among us which would otherwise remain invisible.
